Be careful who you attack these days. A couple of drunk guys were on the prowl in England. They were picking random fights with people and decided to attack what they thought were cross dressers. It turns out the guys they attacked were cage fighters on their way to a costume party…pretty funny.
Them guys got NOTHING on Broad & Erie :D! They stopped using their hands and feet 30 YEARS ago :D! Even KIMBO SLICE ain’t walking down Dauphin and Cleveland streets after sunset :D! Brock Lesnar AIN’T walking down Grape Street in LA in a RED shirt :D!! You look at all the top crack dealers of the past and present…they didn’t get there by throwing karate chops :D! They got all the corners, and the guy throwing karate kicks is headed off to work :D! Oh man, sorry…

I heard you talking about losing weight, and I have my OWN experiences! I was diagnosed with mild hypertension. Not completely out of control, but not normal. With good diet and a water pill, I can keep it at around 135/80. Excercise too, but at the moment with the job commute and other pursuits, I simply dont have the time to go to a gym every day. If it was that simple to keep a good diet :)…if I eat right, my weight stays around 225-230 or so, and the BP is 130-135/80-85. Thats with salads, water, fruits, that kind of thing. I dunno about you, but I got CRAVINGS. Different ones at different times. Got a weakness for cheese and chocolate. Sometimes…Boston Chicken :). Hot wings. Keeping that under control is NOT easy!
I had it down to the good stuff 5 days a weak, 1 day of intermediary stuff, and one day of the WRONG stuff. One day per week, I’m GONNA have that samon, hot wings and fries with blue cheese, and SOUL FOOD!But from time to time, the one day of bad stuff turned into 3 or 4 days :)! I’d have binges like that. Usually something like a holliday where I’d break the rules, would completely throw me off. Boston Chicken, yams and cheese on the side, one of those big chocolate chip cookies…they always give you these TINY spoonfools of mac and cheese and yams with the marshmellow and candy! Screw that, put a LARGE portion on there! Boston Chicken is the DEVIL :D!…next thing you know I’ve been though beef and brocoli, fried chicken the next couple of days. Weight goes up to 240+. Funny thing always gets me back on track. I got a BP moniter, and nothing gets me back on track than seeing 150/90 :D!!
Subway is the BEST way for me to get back on track. Fresh stuff, low fat, low salt. Thing about Subway is how BLAND the good stuff is! A week and a half on that stuff, fruits and water, shredded wheat and I’m back to 130 pounds, 130/80. But its…so bland that I cant stay on it. It serves its purpose, but its not a PERMANENT solution. I do things to spice it up, like putting the hot peppers on it, but…Salad Works IS the solution :)! Jazzed up salads, you know, mediteranian, pasta. They’re too expensive though! 10 bucks a shot! Once a week thing. I tried that South Street Vegetarian place once too, and the veggie chicken sandwhich was great :)! I’m STILL looking for that vegan place though…I got a DOUBLE wammy! It not only has to be low fat, but low SALT too! A lot of that vegan stuff fullfills my fat requirements but not the sodium part! They had to use a lot of salt to make that soy taste like chicken :)! Which limits me to non-processed things like salads and fruits. Gotta watch what dressing too! Some are only 300mg sodium, others are over 1000, which limts me to things like rassberry vinigrette.
So I came up with a plan. Whenever I get off track, make it an intermediary borderline item like broiled chicken breast. Maybe a bit high in sodium, but TASTES GOOD…and meets the fat intake. So instead of fried chicken that day, I went with a broiled chicken breast.
So then I started binging on Chinese Chicken and Broccoli and chicken cheesestakes :D! Not nearly as dangerous as the original binges, but the weight gain and slight BP increase returned. I’ve been right on that vegan line for quite some time, but not ready to cross it yet. Not ready to give things up yet.
One thing I’ve managed to keep on track no matter what is WATER! And non-fat milk. Completely done away with Soda unless is the break-the-rules-day. Its amazing how good CHILLED water starts tasting when I drink it all the time! Unchilled water is BLAH! I may go off the deep end with food, but at the same time, my permanent beverage is water. I cant tell the difference between non-fat and regular milk anymore, so thats permanent as well. Only thing I taste is the shredded wheat. It makes it easier to come back down to 130 once I get my head right and go back to Subway.
I think I’ve solved my chocolate problem with “True Chocolate”. But I am actively searching for a vegan joint with a JAZZY menu that can satisfy the cravings over a long period of time. Heard about 36th and Spruce and some other places.

Holy crap, that’s hilarious. They just picked on the wrong people and got what they deserved!
