National Uproar over KFC Ad. Is this racist?

An ad that ran in Australia made its way to you tube and has caused a national uproar.  Is this ad racist or simply indicative of a different mindset that exists over seas that we may not be aware of?

    Well, I will allow for the benefit of the doubt that as an American I might be taking it the wrong way, but from my point of view it looks likes: If you need to pacify a group of Black people, give them chicken.

    I agree with LaNeshe. Especially given the racist history of Australia and the inddigenous Aborigines. Also, a friend of mine worked in an office with an Australian man who continually referred to ALL the Black women in the office as a “Sheila”.
