Wow, the folks were upset with me today. I made the mistake of saying that although I enjoyed Michelle Obama’s speech, I thought that it was effective but not impressive. I had no idea the relatively innocent statement would generate so much anger. I was told that I was completely out of touch, asked to step aside and let my producer host the show and presented with the allegation that I must be filled with self hate. Oh, and one caller suggested that I go get a flashlight and search for my soul.
